Meet Some of the Team
Team Oasys has some of the best and brightest folks available. We’re diverse, focused and passionate–in both work and our communities.
Rasheeda Berry, Business Analyst
I’m Rasheeda and I’m a Junior Business Analyst in our DC Office supporting our DHS and Commercial Client work. The best advice that I ever received was “speak up when you have something important to say.” No one at work probably knows that I played the clarinet for 8 years. My weird habit is probably the crossword puzzle (at least a few times a week.) How would I convince someone to do something they wouldn’t want to do? List the benefits but accept their decision either way!
Giselle Velasquez, Software Tester
I’m Giselle. I’m a Junior Software Tester in the DC office. In my free time,I enjoy hiking during the summer, yoga and dancing during the rest of the year. If I was explaining my job to a child, I think I’d say my job is about helping others to solve their tasks in a faster and secure way using technology. So, people would have more time to do other fun stuff. If I could trade places with any other person for a week I would like to trade places with the founder of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg and be able to spend time with inspirational people in his company who are creating new technology trends.
Shanous Shah, Senior Test Engineer
I’m Shanous. I’m a Sr. Test Engineer in our DC office. In my free time I like to play soccer, cricket and cards. I have a weird habit of falling asleep in the Metro and passing my destination! The best advice I have ever received was “Treat everyone how you want to be treated.” If someone wrote a biography about me, what do I think the title would be? “Shanous the Passionate!”
Nichelle Hicks, Systems Engineer
Hi, I’m Nichelle and I’m a Junior Systems Engineer. I support several of our clients out of the DC office, including VA, FCC and DHS. If I could trade places with any other person for a week it would probably be Eartha Kitt. In my free time I like reading, playing video games, cooking, and crocheting. Something about you that no one at work probably knows? Part of me would very much like to just buy and work a small farm. A little bit of land to grow things on, a handful of animals…that would make me happy. But I also like city life and public transportation, so. /shrug
